[00:00:00] Hello, welcome to your Daily Grace by Timothy Wilder Grace makes room for growth have you ever felt like you should be further along by now, like your spiritual life should look more polished, more consistent, more put together than it does? Do you look at others expecting yourself to measure up to them? A lot of that pressure comes from comparison. But your journey isn't someone else's. You may be headed toward the same destination, yet they may have simply been on the path longer, or walk through battles and struggles you haven't seen and might not even want to face. When we compare, we lose sight of how God is uniquely working in us. Grace tells a better story. Grace makes room for growth. It doesn't rush the process or demand instant maturity, and it doesn't measure you against anyone else. Instead, it meets you right where you are and faithfully leads you forward, shaping your life over time in a way that is real, lasting, and deeply personal. He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. Philippians 1:6 you growth isn't something you have to force. It's something God is committed to finishing, even when it feels slow or messy. He hasn't stepped away from the process, but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. 2nd Peter 3:18 Growth happens in grace, not in pressure or striving.
[00:01:24] It flows from being secure in him, not from trying to prove anything. The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, Proverbs 4:18.
[00:01:33] It unfolds gradually, like light breaking through the darkness, steady, increasing and sure. So if you find yourself frustrated with where you are, take a step back and see your life through the lens of grace. You're not behind and you're not failing. You're in the middle of a process that God himself is faithfully carrying forward. Let grace lead you on your path and trust that it will bring you exactly where you need to be.
